GVCS Broadfording lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jordan Shifler, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brandon Monroe, who scored five points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
The victory got Shalom Christian Academy back to even at 5-5. As for GVCS Broadfording, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-17.
Shalom Christian Academy will challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for GVCS Broadfording, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Musselman at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Musselman presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than GVCS Broadfording in their respective states (Musselman is ranked 25th in West Virginia, while GVCS Broadfording is ranked 241st in Maryland).
