On Thursday Auburn take on Kentlake at 7:00 PM. Auburn are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Auburn ran circles around Kent-Meridian last week, and the extra yardage (515 yards vs. 239 yards) paid off. Auburn came out on top against Kent-Meridian with a 43-34.
Meanwhile, Kentlake were able to grind out a solid victory over Kentwood, winning 28-14.
Their wins bumped Kentlake to 4-0 and Auburn to 1-3. In their win, Auburn relied heavily on senior Calvin Liulamaga, who rushed for 183 yards and 3 touchdowns. Kentlake will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
