Volleyball Recap: Whitmire Wins Going Away Against Thornwell

Whitmire won the last time they faced Thornwell and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolverines put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-20, 25-8.

Loss or not, Thornwell got some senior leadership from Madilynn Porter and Camden Nelson. Porter had 13 digs and two aces, while Nelson had ten digs.

Whitmire's victory bumped their record up to 2-4-1. As for Thornwell, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Whitmire will challenge rival McCormick at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Thornwell is set to face off against their familiar foe GREEN Upstate at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
