Bayard can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Leyton Warriors. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Warriors, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bayard took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15.

Bayard found their leader in freshman Layni Nesbitt, who had 13 assists and five digs.

Bayard's win bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Leyton, they dropped their record down to 3-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Bayard will face off against Mitchell at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Leyton, they will host Hay Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
