The Jensen Beach Falcons lost against the Treasure Coast Titans back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Jensen Beach took a 36-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Treasure Coast.
Despite the loss, Jensen Beach had strong showings from Aubrey Rasmussen, who scored 11 points, and Jayla Brinkley, who scored four points along with ten rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Moayra McFadden, who scored three points.
Treasure Coast's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reniah Flynn, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Horne, who scored ten points.
Jensen Beach now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Treasure Coast, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Jensen Beach will be playing at home against Port St. Lucie at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Port St. Lucie is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. Treasure Coast won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Centennial at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th. Centennial presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Treasure Coast in Florida (Centennial is ranked 111th, while Treasure Coast is ranked 224th).
