The Yuma Criminals entered their tilt with the Kofa Kings with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Everything went Yuma's way against Kofa on Tuesday as Yuma made off with a 56-35 win. Yuma's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Yuma to victory, but perhaps none more so than Belinda Gradias, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that Gradias scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Legend Redmond, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Yuma's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Kofa, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Yuma will take on Casa Grande in a holiday battle at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at. As for Kofa, they will be playing in front of their home fans against San Luis at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
