MCC lost against Maine East back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crescents fell 2-0 to the Blue Demons. The Crescents' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

While MCC ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-19.

MCC's loss dropped their record down to 14-3. As for Maine East, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-20.

MCC does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Maine East, they will take on Highland Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
