It was a good run, but the Arcadia Apaches unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 67-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pasadena. While losing is never fun, Arcadia can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 36th).
Arcadia lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mansour Sanneh, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaydon Price, who scored ten points along with six steals.
Arcadia's loss dropped their record down to 19-8. As for Pasadena, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-3.
Arcadia will take on the Falcons at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Crescenta Valley has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,182 points over their last 17 games. As for Pasadena, they will head out on the road to face off against the Mustangs at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. Muir is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.
