While Trumbull put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Notre Dame Prep. The Eagles put the hurt on the Lancers with a sharp 11-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Trumbull and bumps their season record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 1 runs in those games. As for Notre Dame Prep, they dropped their record down to 6-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Trumbull will welcome West Haven at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Notre Dame Prep, they will be playing at home against Bethel at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
