Lincoln County dropped down to 17-16 on Monday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Danville Admirals, falling 16-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Admirals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-7 back in April.

For Danville's part, Jaycee Morse made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. Morse was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Danville got a massive performance out of Riley Foster, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. That's the most runs Foster has posted since back in April.
