After only one run in their last contest, Chester made sure to put some runs up on the board against Plumas Charter on Wednesday. The Volcanoes blew past the Warriors 21-3. The Volcanoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by eight runs or more this season.
Jenna Schlueter made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs, two RBI, and one double. Those five runs gave her a new career-high.
