Saturday just wasn't the day for Spring's offense. They took  a  6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eisenhower Eagles on Saturday. The  loss leaves the Lions still looking for their first win of the season.

 Even if they lost, Spring's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. Leading the way was  Chase Lewis with  2.5. He also set a new season-high mark in  total tackles with seven.  Enrinque Camerillo was another major factor on D,  picking up  0.5  sacks and making 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Eisenhower,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-2.
 We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Spring will  take on  rival MacArthur  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Meanwhile, Eisenhower is set to  face off against  their familiar foe Dekaney  at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
