Redondo Union has gone a perfect 5-0 against Lawndale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Redondo Union Sea Hawks will welcome the Lawndale Cardinals at 6:00 p.m.

Redondo Union saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of Banning by a score of 3-2. The Sea Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Redondo Union got a good showing from Robby Zimmerman, who tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

At the plate, Redondo Union saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Sola, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That RBI was Sola's first of the season. Another was Parker Leoff, who got three hits from his three at bats.

Meanwhile, Lawndale put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let Chadwick get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. The eight-run effort marked the Cardinals' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Redondo Union now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lawndale, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Everything went Redondo Union's way against Lawndale when the teams last played back in February of 2020, as Redondo Union made off with a 9-1 win. Does Redondo Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lawndale turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
