The Sully Buttes Chargers won the last time they faced the Jones County Coyotes, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Sully Buttes escaped with a win against the Coyotes by the margin of a single free throw, 54-53. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sully Buttes.
Jones County lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaden Kinsley, who scored 17 points. Another player making a difference was Cooper Feddersen, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Sully Buttes' win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Jones County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.
Sully Buttes will head out on the road to take on the Battlers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. As for Jones County, they will face off against the Titans at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
