On Resurrection's side, Ella Anderson was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
Lane Tech's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-10. As for Resurrection, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10-1.
Lane Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Resurrection, they have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Evanston at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Evanston will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Resurrection surely won't give up without a fight.
