On Friday, it was a hard-fought game, but Petrolia had to settle for a 33-31 loss against Texoma Christian.
Despite the loss, Petrolia saw an underclassman step up: Alyssa Lands scored 6 points along with 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Holland Horton, who scored 8 points along with 6 rebounds.
Petrolia's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Texoma Christian, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Petrolia's road trip will continue as they head out to face Graford at 2:00 p.m. on December 1st. Graford will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Texoma Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Providence Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
