The Phillips Wildcats entered their tilt with the Westinghouse Warriors with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Phillips snuck past Westinghouse with a 59-53 victory on Tuesday. For Phillips, this counts as revenge for the 64-61 loss Westinghouse walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2019.
Phillips got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Phoenix Childs out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. Amari Edwards was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Phillips' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-8. As for Westinghouse, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-8.
Phillips does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Westinghouse also has no future games currently scheduled.
