Basketball Recap: Greater Grace Christian Academy Extends Winning Streak to 19

Greater Grace Christian Academy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 45-39 W over the Mount de Sales Academy Sailors .

Despite the loss, Mount de Sales Academy still got an impressive performance from Shelby Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Lewis is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Katie Carroll, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

Greater Grace Christian Academy pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.4 points per game. As for Mount de Sales Academy, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-1.

Greater Grace Christian Academy will take on Carroll Christian in a holiday battle at 4:15 p.m. on Monday at. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Catonsville at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.
