After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crete, Guardian Angels Central Catholic/West Point Beemer was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the South Sioux City Cardinals by a score of 7-4. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Guardian Angels Central Catholic/West Point Beemer as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Cody Hass was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. That stolen base was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Elliot Reeson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Guardian Angels Central Catholic/West Point Beemer's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for South Sioux City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
