It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Winder-Barrow had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Veterans Warhawks as they made off with a 72-47 victory. The Bulldoggs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Veterans' defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Sweenor, who posted 11 points and three steals. That's the most steals Sweenor has posted since back in January. Jaivyon Dawson was another key player, putting up ten points.

Winder-Barrow pushed their record up to 25-3 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.9 points over those games. As for Veterans, their loss dropped their record down to 16-13.

Looking ahead, Winder-Barrow will challenge Lakeside on Saturday. Lakeside will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Winder-Barrow surely won't give up without a fight. Veterans does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
