The Redland Christian Academy FALCONS had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a serious blow against Marathon, falling 61-23.
Marathon was led to victory by ADRIAN CRUZ and XAVIER GRANT. CRUZ scored 14 points along with 6 steals, while GRANT scored 17 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was DAESHAWN HOLMES, who scored 6 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Redland Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Marathon, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Redland Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Colonial Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Colonial Christian is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Marathon, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Keys Gate at 7:00 p.m.
