 Paige Rogers was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out ten over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 13 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Mechanicville got a  massive  performance out of  Addison Pane, who  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI.  Kendall Beuchner was another key player,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Mechanicville was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .469. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The  win (which was Mechanicville's third in a row) raised their record to 11-8. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Corinth, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Coming up, Mechanicville will head out on the road to  challenge  Catholic Central  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (the Red Raiders 3.7, the Crusaders 3.5) so any  runs scored will be well earned. Corinth does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
