In what's become a running theme this season, the Oak Grove Grizzlies gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Everything went their way against Central Davidson as Oak Grove made off with a 67-43 victory. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-10.
Leading Oak Grove to victory were Kalin Favreau and Trista Charles. Favreau scored 13 points along with three steals, while Charles scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Charles hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for three straight games. Cora Hadley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Oak Grove has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Central Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.
Oak Grove will be playing at home against Montgomery Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Montgomery Central will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 214th, while Oak Grove is ranked 83rd). As for Central Davidson, they will head out on the road to challenge North Davidson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
