This season hasn't been kind to The Mount Anthony Patriots, who are still winless after their eighth contest. They took a 14-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Colchester on Friday. Mount Anthony was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Colchester apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.
Jonathan Garland threw for 36 yards while completing 100% of his passes. Colin Brady was his top target, picking up 45 receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Mount Anthony's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 0-8. As for Colchester, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5.
