Vudrico Roberson Delivers Best Performance of Season
Vudrico Roberson produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Haltom to the win on Friday. Roberson rushed for 394 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 14.1 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 94-yard run.
Roberson's next match is against Bowie on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance. The game will pit Roberson up against the Volunteers' star rusher Darrion Bowers. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Bowie was led to victory by Larry Nichols, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Nichols rushed for 215 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 150 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 79-yard run.
The win (which was Bowie's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-3. Nichols and Bowie will challenge Haltom at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Lamar got the W thanks in part to Kelton Barney playing the best football he has all season. Barney's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards.

Jackson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 133 rushing yards. He also punched in three rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Haltom is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.
