The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Tabernacle in their matchups with Cornerstone Christian: they've now lost three in a row.
Cornerstone Christian found their leader in underclassman Tamia Ballard, who scored 19 points along with 9 steals and 6 rebounds. The contest was Ballard's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kendall Coots, who scored 6 points along with 5 assists and 5 rebounds.
Tabernacle's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Cornerstone Christian, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Tabernacle is on the road again on Friday and play against Chilton Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Cornerstone Christian, they will challenge Hamilton Heights Christian Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
