Given Gulliver Prep's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 158th, while Calvary Christian Academy is ranked 411th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Mikayla Brown was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The contest was her fifth in a row with at least ten points. Caitlen Dauphin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds.
Gulliver Prep is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.
