Westran won the last time they faced New Franklin and Cruze Haynes did his part to make sure it happened again. The Hornets secured a 48-43 W over the Bulldogs on Saturday for which the team can thank Haynes, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds. His big performance that evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points.

Jackson Land was another key player, putting up eight points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 60% in the last three games he's played.

The win keeps Westran at an undefeated 5-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 58.4 points this season. As for New Franklin, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Westran will take on Glasgow at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Franklin, they are taking a road trip to square off against Fayette at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
