Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Westville). They walked away with a 14-9 victory over the Checotah Wildcats on Friday.

Westville's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-16. As for Checotah, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-16 record.

Westville has already played their next match (against Stilwell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Checotah, they will host Fort Gibson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.05 runs per game on average), something the Wildcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
