Meridian's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-7 margin over the Sultan Turks. The high-scoring effort was just what the Trojans needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Meridian's victory bumped their record up to 4-15. As for Sultan, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meridian will square off against Lakewood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sultan, they will take on Darrington at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
