Heritage Christian is 1-9 against Brookfield Academy since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. Last Saturday, Heritage Christian didn't have too much trouble with Milwaukee Reagan at home as they won 65-46.
It was another big night for Morgan Bluhm, who almost dropped a triple-double on 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 steals. Bluhm is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Amanda Pike, who scored 12 points along with 8 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Brookfield Academy was fully in charge on Tuesday, breezing past Kenosha Christian Life 75-35 at home.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Brookfield Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Luci Jensen, who scored 18 points. The match was Jensen's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Rigel, who scored 18 points.
The win got Heritage Christian back to even at 2-2. As for Brookfield Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Heritage Christian hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 58.8 points per game. It's a different story for Brookfield Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 61.7 per game. The only thing between Heritage Christian and another offensive beatdown is Brookfield Academy.
