Volleyball Recap: Loomis Find Success

Loomis won the last time they faced Wilcox-Hildreth and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolves walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Falcons. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolves.

Loomis easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Ella Ellsworth paced Loomis' offense, picking up eight kills. Ellsworth got some help from Sophia Schemper and her 18 assists. Kinsey Lauby and Abby Biesner kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Loomis' win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Wilcox-Hildreth, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the loss, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Loomis and Wilcox-Hildreth will both be playing Amherst the next time they take the court. The Wolves will host the Broncos at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
