Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mt. Spokane). They secured a 79-74 W over the West Valley Rams on Friday. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Mt. Spokane has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for West Valley, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Mt. Spokane and Kentwood will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Kentwood knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully Mt. Spokane likes a good challenge. As for West Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Davis at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in West Valley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
