The Bountiful RedHawks will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Morgan Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Bountiful pushed their score all the way to 61 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 68-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lone Peak. Bountiful has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the defeat, Bountiful had strong showings from Milika Satuala, who scored 20 points, and Taylor Harvey, who scored 18 points. Satuala scored a full 32.8% of Bountiful's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Adelaide Stevenson was another key contributor, scoring 9 points.
Meanwhile, Morgan couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Ridgeline 75-29 on Monday. Morgan has struggled against Ridgeline recently, as their match on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Bountiful's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Morgan, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
