Having just played yesterday, the West Point Warriors will jump right back in to play the Fort Payne Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. West Point knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matchups -- so hopefully Fort Payne likes a good challenge.
West Point has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 25 points or more this season. They blew past Pell City 69-40 on the road.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Fort Payne's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell to Boaz 46-40.
West Point is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Fort Payne, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
