The Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against Cheyenne by a score of 52-41. This was payback for Southeast Career Tech, who suffered a 54-51 loss the last time these two teams met.
Southeast Career Tech had a senior duo take command as Bianca Vazquez scored 25 points along with three steals and Morgan Sweet dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Southeast Career Tech pushed their record up to 11-15 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Cheyenne, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
Southeast Career Tech will head out on the road to challenge the Guardians at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cheyenne does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
