Adrian Warden posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out 12 batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because East Lee County is 2-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-6 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Warden and East Lee County are taking a road trip to square off against South Fort Myers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars haven't beaten the Wolfpack recently, having gone 0-10 since February of 2017.
