After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Innovations International, the Trinity International Thunder were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They strolled past Desert Pines with points to spare, taking the game 76-59. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Desert Pines still got an impressive performance from Prince Davis, who scored 25 points. Davis scored a full 42.4% of Desert Pines' points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Damonte Duhart, who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds and 7 assists.
Trinity International's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Desert Pines, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Trinity International's road trip will continue as they head out to face Balboa School at 4:30 p.m. on December 1st. Hopefully Balboa School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Sunday. As for Desert Pines, they will head out on the road to face off against Centennial at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
