If Griswold wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Killingly, they should've done a better job of containing Hayden Allard. The Trailbazers claimed a resounding 60-13 victory over the Wolverines for which the team can thank Allard, who rushed for 280 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 59 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Killingly's record is now 7-0. As for Griswold, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Killingly will welcome Norwich Free Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Trailbazers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Griswold, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Stonington at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so the Wolverines' offense will have their work cut out for them.
