The North Valley Christian Academy Lions will challenge the Wickenburg Wranglers at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Valley Christian Academy will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
North Valley Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Mountainside a 29-0 shutout on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Duvuagn Pryce made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He is becoming a predictor of North Valley Christian Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 2-12-1 when he doesn't).
