Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Gospel Light Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Gospel Light Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Faith Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Gospel Light Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Woodland Baptist Christian at 4:30 p.m. on January 19, 2024. Faith Christian will be home for the holidays to greet Asheboro Hybrid Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Asheboro Hybrid Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
