The Pendleton County Wildcat's's 15-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They were dealt a 77-28 loss at the hands of Tucker County on Tuesday. Pendleton County has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Pendleton County's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabrielle Depue, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Pendleton County now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Tucker County, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Pendleton County will head out on the road to face off against Buckhannon-Upshur at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Tucker County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against East Hardy at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully East Hardy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Tuesday.
