The Rosemount Irish had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 76-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eden Prairie on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Eden Prairie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rae Ehrman out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tori Schlagel, who scored 19 points along with 8 rebounds.
Rosemount's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Eden Prairie, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rosemount will challenge Woodbury at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eden Prairie, they will head out on the road to face off against White Bear Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
