Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hermleigh). They put the hurt on the Rotan Yellowhammers with a sharp 32-3 victory on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 25, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Hermleigh pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.7 runs over those games. As for Rotan, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Hermleigh and Rotan will both be playing Roby the next time they take the field. The Yellowhammers will host the Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Cardinals will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
