Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Solon). They were the clear victor by a 66-46 margin over the Benton Bobcats on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Solon pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Benton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Solon will head out to challenge Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mt. Vernon will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Solon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Benton, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Benton Bobcats duke it out with the Mt. Pleasant Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Benton is facing Mt. Pleasant at the right time seeing as Mt. Pleasant is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
