They enjoyed a cozy 79-65 victory over Clear Brook. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Dickinson to victory were David Chong and Qasim Boyd. Chong scored 21 points along with seven assists, while Boyd scored 22 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chong has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jermaine Tindle, who scored five points along with five blocks and four steals.
Dickinson's win bumped their record up to 8-16. As for Clear Brook, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.
Dickinson will be playing at home against Clear Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clear Springs presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dickinson in Texas (Clear Springs is ranked 99th, while Dickinson is ranked 394th). As for Clear Brook, they will head out on the road to challenge Clear Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
