Robinson relied on the efforts of Camri Hobbs, who went 5-for-8 on her way to 17 points and six boards, and Destiny Chambers, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds. Hobbs is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as she's posted one of at least 46% in the last 14 games she's played. Charlene McNeil was another key player, putting up eight points.
Robinson smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Hibriten came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against East Lincoln by a score of 61-49 on Tuesday.
Hibriten found their leader in sophomore Aamori Patterson, who went 6-for-10 en route to 22 points in addition to six assists and six boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Patterson has scored at least a third of Hibriten's points. Another player making a difference was Karlee Starnes, who posted ten points and six rebounds.
Robinson's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points over those games. As for Hibriten, their victory bumped their record up to 14-12.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Robinson has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 23.3 boards per game. However, it's not like Hibriten struggles in that department as they've been averaging 24.1 rebounds.
