Lone Pine has gone a perfect 10-0 against Mojave recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles will welcome the Mustangs at 5:00 p.m. Mojave took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lone Pine, who comes in off a win.
Lone Pine not only won last Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 8th (when they won 3-0). They blew past Lee Vining 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.
Lone Pine was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-9.

Lone Pine got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Yesenia Alegre out in front who had 11 kills, four digs, and two blocks. That's the most digs Alegre has posted over her last three matches. Camila Martinez was another key player, getting five kills, four aces, and three digs.
Lone Pine was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Mojave's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to Immanuel Christian.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Immanuel Christian scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, 20-25, 25-23.
Lone Pine's victory bumped their record up to 8-11-2. As for Mojave, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-1.
Lone Pine took their win against Mojave when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Golden Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
