The Whitefish Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Libby Loggers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Whitefish pushed their score all the way to 70 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Browning by a score of 72-70. Whitefish has struggled against Browning recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Libby can finally bid farewell to their 11-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 42-41 photo finish over Polson. The victory was just what Libby needed coming off of a 69-22 defeat in their prior contest.
Whitefish has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Libby, their win bumped their record up to 2-13.
Whitefish barely slipped by Libby in their previous matchup last Monday, winning 56-55. Will Whitefish repeat their success, or does Libby have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
