When it comes to explaining why Enfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Zach Bonini. Despite the final result, he rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Manchester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Julian Henderson, who rushed for 47 yards and two touchdowns. Emanuel Sampel was another key contributor, rushing for 20 yards and a touchdown.
Enfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Manchester, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Enfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Manchester will be playing in front of their home fans against Southington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southington's defense has only allowed 16.3 points per game this season, so Manchester's offense will have their work cut out for Manchester.
